麋鹿林華人聯誼會(EGCA)於六月二十日舉行年會

2009麋鹿林華人聯誼會(EGCA)年會於六月二十日晚在 Elliot Ranch 小學禮堂隆重舉行。 一百多會員興高采烈地帶上各家的拿手好菜前來聚餐，理事會還從酒店訂購了十大盒美味佳餚。 晚餐豐盛，氣氛祥和。 年會主持人文藝理事鄭翔宣佈年會正式開始。

會長梁建華博士和副會長懷濤博士親自為第二屆乒乓球賽冠軍和第二屆羽毛球賽冠軍頒贈獎盃。 第二屆乒乓球賽男子單打冠軍丁豐， 混雙冠軍羅東民和丁豐上臺領獎。 第二屆羽毛球賽男子單打冠軍莊衛， 女子單打冠軍高婷娟分別獲得精美的獎盃。

晚餐後，會長梁建華博士作了精彩的年度總結報告。 她綜述了過往的各項文藝和體育活動， 理事會通過這些有意義的活動不斷增進會員們的友誼， 豐富會員們的業餘生活。 隨後， 財務理事梁惠民作了年度財務總結報告，理事吳柄威擔任國語翻譯。 在聯邦和各州， 郡， 市都面臨財務危機的形勢下， 理事會既能把活動搞得紅紅活活， 又能保證收支平衡， 贏得了會員們的熱烈掌聲。

秘書長趙微和總務長黃東子負責組織下一屆理事會的民主選舉。 會員們積極提名理事候選人, 踴躍投票， 充分體現了民意表達了民心。

今日風清雲淡， 今夜花好月圓。 會員們放開歌喉邁開舞步， 盡情地享受著karaoke， 享受著友誼和歡樂。 麋鹿林的明天會更好。

The 2009 Elk Grove Chinese Association's annual meeting was held on Saturday, June 20 at Elliot Ranch Elementary School in Elk Grove. Over one hundred members attended the meeting. It started with a potluck dinner. After the dinner, Secretary Sharon Zheng served as an MC to call the order of the meeting.

President Jane Liang and Vice President Tao Huai presented award trophies to the winners of this year's table tennis and badminton tournaments. The winners who went onto the stage to receive the trophies are:

• Allen Ding, man's single champion, 2nd Table Tennis Tournament, 2009
• Dongmin Luo and Allen Ding, man's double champion, 2nd Table Tennis Tournament, 2009
• Wayne Zhuang, man's single champion, 2nd Badminton Tournament, 2009
• Tingjuan Gao, woman's single champion, 2nd Badminton Tournament, 2009

After the award ceremony, President Jane Liang gave the annual council report. She summed up the activities of the past year, which were mainly aimed at enriching members' leisure lives and developing friendship.

Treasurer Waiman Leung gave annual financial report with council member Pat Eng serving as a translator for Mandarin. Mr. Leung reported that the association achieved a balanced budget, in contrast to the budget crises from the federal and state to local county and city governments.

Following the treasurer's report, there was the annual election, lead by this year's election committee members Wendy Zhao and Tony Huang.

The meeting ended with a karaoke and dance.
