What: Stage performance, business exhibitions, karaoke contest, raffle prizes, ballroom dance and much more.

History: The Elk Grove Chinese Association was one of the funding member organizations of the Chinese New Year Celebration Alliance (CNYCA), now changed to the Chinese New Year Cultural Association (CNYCA) that has been hosting annual events. It served as two terms as a Chair organization with Dr. Charlie Huang (link to Charlie’s page) serving as the chairman of the CNYCA in the Celebration of the Year of the Tiger in 1998 and Ms. Jane Liang (link to picture) as the chairwoman in the Celebration the Year of the Monkey.

第八屆春節聯歡會 - 喜慶雞年

時間：二月十九號，星期六，上午十點到晚上十點

地點：加利福尼亞州立大學，沙加緬度分校，大學禮堂。

節目：舞台文藝演出，工商展覽，卡拉 OK 大獎賽，抽簽大獎，交誼舞等。

歷史點滴：麋鹿林華人聯誼會是沙加緬度華人春節聯歡會籌委會發起人之一。八年來聯誼會擔任了兩屆籌委會主席： 黃長志博士任首屆慶祝虎年主席， 梁建華女士任第七屆慶祝猴年主席。
